I play the original version in my video (loaded through Robin's menu), though there are some modified ones available there.

This is from 1979, by Hiroshi Suzuki. The title translates to 'Shoplifting Boy' in English. The game was printed in a Japanese magazine called RAM (Random Access Magazine) in 1980, and it's the first known stealth game.

There wasn't any PET footage out there until recently, and what there is has voice over, picture-in-picture, etc, so I thought I'd put up a plain video of just me playing it and showing the different things that can happen.

You have to collect all the stuff in the shop before 11:00, and without the person at the top seeing you. You can hide behind the shelves, and even stick out a bit, but if you are in full view you will be caught.

You control your movement with the numpad and Space to collect an item.
