The first Two Phase U release was a record produced in 1997 called Technowledge, consisting of 9 tracks hybridizing styles that were happening in the underground scene at that time: techno, trance, industrial EBM and electro. A conceptual album with a philosophical commentary on the tension felt about technology and future in the pre-millennium years. The album was distributed locally and some copies reached the international scene. It was featured as a demo in the Spanish version of Future Music magazine #25, and later left to oblivion as a rookie attempt of a young producer who later went to explore the incoming musical paradigms of the 21st century.

27 years later the global human society appears to be in a zeitgeist pretty similar to the one from those days, and Two Phase U needs to comment again on the reality of now and the fears of tomorrow. The sounds and compositions of Technowledge 2024 pay homage to music that tried to predict the intensity of a future that is now our present and a collective destiny yet to be unveiled.
