In this lecture, we will learn about different coordinate systems. The very simple and popular system is cartesian coordinate system. The other systems are spherical polar coordinate system, and cylindrical coordinate system. Here we will learn about the plane polar coordinates and find a relation between cartesian coordinates and plane polar coordinates.
These are the fundamentals. We will study all the important derivations and the applications of results in numerical problems in this course. These topics are very usefull for IIT JAM / Engineering Physics / B. Tech. and other university entrance exams.
