Audio from CD source, the original 78rpm single was issued on Columbia 2885-D - Carioca (Vincent Youmans-Gus Kahn-Edward Eliscu) by Enric Madriguera & his Orchestra, recorded in NYC January 24, 1934. This number was created for Fred and Ginger’s famed “Carioca” dance sequence in their first on-screen pairing (though they played only supporting roles to Raymond and del Rio).
