Blue Pearl released their debut single in 1990, Naked in the Rain and is featured on their album Naked. They were ostensibly an English electronic music duo consisting of Durga McBroom, an America female singer, and musician Youth (Martin Glover).

Interestingly, McBroom was also a backing singer for Pink Floyd and some of their records feature David Gilmour and Richard Wright.

This was a dance hit track that was played in so many clubs as the 90s dance music scene took off.

It was remixed in 1998, and was also a hit then.
