These machines are fully automatic, and can be used for the die-casting of zinc and lead alloys. The die casting machines themselves cycle at speeds of up to 75 cycles per minute (4,500 shots per hour). The major advantage the four slide hot chamber process is extremely short cycle times as it does not require metal to be transported from a separate furnace.
