Shatarup Ghosh - Complain against fake Facebook profiles

Fake profiles were being created in my name, one after the other, for the last four days and communally provocative posts are being made from them. I have been reporting those profiles to Facebook and some of them have been blocked. However the dubious efforts to tarnish the image of my party and me kept continuing. The nature of the posts and type of people sharing those posts, made it evident that this was being organised by the RSS. Interestingly, those circulating those posts from the fake profiles were not sharing them from the profile itself, but were taking screenshots and circulating them, as they knew that the fake profiles will eventually get blocked. But the screenshots will keep living on Facebook even after the fake profiles get removed. I filed an FIR with the Cyber Crime Department of Kolkata Police at Lalbazar, along with the links of the fake profiles and also profiles of those people who were circulating the screenshots.
