We were invited to the Ube festival, also known as Yum Yams festival, in the Kapwa Gardens in San Francisco, California. This is a community garden by Kultivate labs in SOMA Pilipinas. This event features everything Ube. From Ube ensaymada pastries to Ube nachos, you will be thinking of purple dinosaurs by the end of the day. The theme is apparently Ube, however, there are plenty of other savory and tasty treats. Big thanks to General Manager Marissa for the invite, and to the staff of Kapwa Gardens for putting this very first Ube festival together. Get ready to crave some Ube after the video.
