Lowe Stokes, formerly of the Skillet Lickers, runs through a pop jazz tune. Featured on this side is Perry Bechtel, a man who became famous more for his virtuosic banjo playing, but who here plays the first recorded flatpicked guitar solo in country music. That is him at the end of the video.

The second picture in the slide is Stokes playing in 1982 with a guy named Mac Benford, having learned to play with a prosthetic hook after he lost his hand in 1930 during a shooting incident. A description of the event from Juanita McMichen: "Lowe was a ladies man. He was always getting into a scuffle over some woman. He was with some woman when her husband come home and pulled out his pistol. Lowe tried to grab the gun but the gun went off and blew off most of his hand. When Daddy heard about it he went to Lowe's house in Cartersville to find Lowe sitting in chair in his front yard drinking whiskey- while the doctor was taking the rest of his hand off!"
