Meteorologist Aaron White is tracking snow in the southern part of Ohio.

The snow has returned to Central Ohio, especially south of I-70 where there is a Winter Weather Advisory for areas from Chillicothe to Piketon to Athens. Once the snow is over, about 1-3" of snowfall is expected in total. For areas to the north, some flurries and snow showers are possible, but little to no accumulation is expected.

Yet another chance of snow is expected late Thursday into Friday, and models are hinting that we might get a little more snowfall. At this time, it's not looking to be a major winter storm, but we will continue to monitor for updates so keep checking back with the team.

Regardless, this storm system will bring in another round of bitter cold air which will drop temperatures yet again this weekend. Although the weekend will be cold, some warmer weather may be in store for the following week as there are indications that multiple days could be above freezing.
