Episode 8 - else if (parting): Meric and Via prepare to part ways because of Meric's impending Match.

It's the future. Via and Meric are best friends who are kept apart by a society that demands constant productivity and limits socializing. Via [she/her] is the top virtual surgeon in the country; Meric [they/them] is a historical chef who recreates obsolete foods for the upper class. BioVolt is the tech-government corporation that runs everything, including the technology that allows Meric and Via to communicate through screens on their hands.

Meric is played by Lillian Bornstein and Via is played by Lili Fox-Lim.
