U.S. Marines and Swedish Armed Forces conduct HIMARS FIRE in Sweden

U.S. Marines with Kilo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, fire a rocket from an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) with Swedish Armed Forces during exercise Baltic Operations 24, (BALTOPS 24) Uto Island, Sweden, June 11, 2024. BALTOPS24 is the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region. The exercise, led by U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa and executed by Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO, provides a unique training opportunity to strengthen combined response capabilities critical to preserving freedom of navigation and security in the Baltic Sea.
