Digimon Story Time Stranger just dropped its demo, and I jumped right in to give it a full test. In this video, I break down my first impressions, gameplay details, and why this feels like the perfect blend of Persona’s style and Pokémon’s monster systems — all with that Digimon twist.

We’ll cover the opening sections of the demo, the rooftop battle encounter, how the combat system works (Vaccine, Virus, and Data typing), and why I think the ability to send out Digimon for quick battles makes this one of the smoothest Digimon RPGs yet. I also played on the PlayStation Portal and talk about how the game runs on portable hardware.
