If you have a solar PV system, you can follow this video to build a solar plant monitoring system in your own server, by using a WiFi energy meter, Home Assistant and Grafana. Then you can track

1. Solar production (Yield);
2. Energy consumed from the solar (Self-direct Use);
3. Excess energy exported to grid (To Grid);
4. Energy consumed from grid (From Grid).
“To Grid” and “From Grid” Energy can be monitored by ONLY ONE bi-directional meter.
