White Horses - Guitar Instrumental - Neville Worthington

Hi welcome to my version of “White Horses” the theme tune from the 1960’s TV Series of the same name written by Michael Carr and Ben Nisbet and sung by Irish-born Jackie Lee. It became a top 10 hit in the UK charts in April 1968. The book The Penguin Television Companion claimed it to be the best television theme in history. It has been copied and used many times since,
The theme song to the German version was played by Ivo Robić.

The TV series dates from 1965 co-produced by RTV Ljubljana (now RTV Slovenija) of Yugoslavia[1] and German TV (Südwestfunk).
The series, called Počitnice v Lipici in Slovenian and Ferien in Lipizza ("Holidays in Lipica") in German, comprised thirteen 25-minute black and white episodes.
My recollection is of watching this series a child and despite the poor quality black and white images and badly dubbed soundtrack the series always had a certain unique charm!
This version is based upon the instrumental arrangement by Warren Bennett and The Vibratos and uses their excellent BT.
