The Sandstone Trail runs for 34 miles between Frodsham and Whitchurch along much of the Mid Cheshire Ridge. I took two days to walk the trail wild camping beside the Shropshire Union Canal. The walk offered some great views with a mixture of wild and cultivated countryside. This is the first of my two days.
