Before making the move to Lostant, IL, I heard the Hudson Bay Railway SD50s working in LaSalle, IL. The engines are both of UP heritage (One CNW and one Missouri Pacific) replaced a trio of Geeps a couple years ago on the LaSalle branch. Not my first time seeing these two though it still is weird seeing 6 axle engines on this line. Being along the Illinois River in for about a mile or so, this is one of the most flood prone lines in the state. HBRY 5009 (ex-CNW SD50 built 12/1985) and 5006 (ex-MP SD50 built 12/1984) lead 5 cars through Peru, IL. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!!
