Coney Beach Amusement Park, Porthcawl - All The Fun Of The Fair!

A quick Friday evening trip to the funfair at Coney Beach, Porthcawl in South Wales.
The Coney Beach Amusement Park has been in operation since the 1920’s and is an old style seaside fairground.

They have the usual ghost trains, carousel and lots of rides that go round and round which make you feel very sick. Although they don’t have the polish of the ‘Disney’ and ‘ Universal’ theme parks there is still something fun about traditional funfairs.

There is no entrance fee and on Friday evenings after 5pm (at the time of the video, May19) the price of the rides are £1.

Thanks to ​@Dave-K for being my ‘crash test dummy’ and trying the rides. I was too much of a chicken and get travel sick in an elevator!

He tries the classic dodgems, the Fantasia ride and the Typhoon ride.

We also love the sideshows and kiddy rides which seem to skirt around copyright issues such as ‘Hallo Koty” which definitely has nothing to do with ‘Hello Kitty’.
