Andrew Laming, the member for Bowman, was named and suspended after bringing in "dangerous and flammable substances" into the Federation Chamber alongside using props. Laming is perhaps the only government member in the history of the Australian government to have been named and suspended (Government minister Clyde Cameron was named but the motion to suspend him failed).
