'HILL 235' Featuring Josh Harper. By Rohan Candappa. Lockdown Theatre S2 E2.

This is a story about Britain fighting in the Korean War in 1951. It's a story about one regiment's heroics that has largely been forgotten. But I don't think that this story, the story of Hill 235, should be forgotten.

Now, I should probably write something more coherent here, but I've just watched the film again, and the way that Josh Harper makes it all come to life gets me every time. I believe every single word he says. Thank you Josh. I think you did them proud.

Maybe I'll update this text later with something more considered. Something along the lines of the fact that soldiers don't get to choose the wars they fight in. Or why they're fighting in them. But for those who die, for those who give their lives, remembrance one day a year is nowhere near enough. I hope this film plays a small part in redressing the balance.
