Workshop Goal: To provide volunteers of the Qatar Voluntary Works Association (QVWA) with an opportunity to develop their English language skills for hosting guests to Qatar. The workshop series was developed around a model in which 20 lead volunteers were selected to be volunteer leader trainers.

Workshops participants were able to practice their language and problem solving skills through case studies. The case studies were developed around realistic situations the volunteers may face while hosting guests to Qatar. In addition to the case studies, participants received a language sheet with suggested vocabulary and sentence starters.
