Описание к видео PART 3-AFRAID to train your ACLs in this closed chain range!? Not doing so is negligence!!

Eccentric stability in a closed-chain position activates TRUE muscle action in weight-bearing.

This is fundamentally different—and far more transferable—than non-weight-bearing exercise.

When the foot is on the ground:
• Muscles are forced to decelerate load eccentrically
• Joint compression enhances stability, not stress
• Co-contraction occurs across the hip–knee–ankle–foot chain
• Proprioceptive input increases exponentially
• Neuromuscular timing becomes sport-relevant

Muscles do not respond the same way in open-chain, non-weight-bearing rehab.
Those drills have value—but they cannot replicate the demands of gait, stance, cutting, or landing.

This is why weight-bearing progressions must be paramount:
✔ Early in rehab
✔ Throughout recovery
✔ AND well beyond discharge from therapy

If strength isn’t built under real ground-reaction forces, it won’t survive real movement.

Rehab doesn’t end when pain is gone—it ends when load can be accepted, controlled, and repeated.
