Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster - Demo of a rescued guitar - GUP Tech preamps

Quick demo of a rescued Jim Root Jazzmaster grabbed on Reverb earlier this year. The guitar had grinder tool mark and the body was pretty beated up by the first owner. I’ve removed the original black paint, filled the holes and marks with epoxy and woods, sanded it back to original Jazzmaster shape, and finally painted a nice Dark Purple Metallic nitro finish over it.

It ain’t perfect, and this guitar will never be a « classic » Jim Root Jazzmaster guitar, but I believe nice guitars like this one deserve to play!
