Multiplication is kind of like repeated addition
5 times 3 is five groups of 3 once you've added them up

Now I’m seeing you’re
So inquisitive now

So let’s multiply
with some negatives (how?)

When the signs are different the answer is negative
When the signs are the same the answer is positive

Multiplying negatives happens so naturally
5 times negative 3 is five groups of negative 3

So what about negative 5 times 3 now? 
It’s five negative groups of 3 (how?)
