How to Grow Croton Plants From Stem Cuttings

Growing croton plant from stem's cuttings is maybe the easiest way to do croton plant propagation. This method is also can produce large amount of new croton plants since from one single stem we can turn it into so many new plants. The croton plant propagation by stem's cuttings is also very effective since the success percentage of this method is very high if it is done correctly. Maybe for experienced gardeners, it can reach almost 100% of success percentage.

To do croton plant propagation is very easy. First we need to prepare the equipment needed. Here are the list:
1. Croton plant's stem
2. Knife
3. Growing medium
4. Container/ polibag/ pot (as needed)

Follow these steps to be succesful in croton plant propagation:
1. Take healthy croton plant's stems from the garden
2. Make 8-12 inches cuttings.
3. Remove the stem's skin at the bottom edges of the cuttings.
4. Place them in growing medium.
5. Watering them as needed, not excessive.
6. Put in shaded area for two months until the roots and leafs of the croton plant grow nicely.
7. New croton plants ready to be planted.
