Helmed by Platige director Damian Nenow and narrated by Dakota Fanning, this powerful spot leads off the UN-sponsored Hunger Personified campaign designed "to highlight the dangers of being apathetic to hunger and accepting it as a necessary evil."

Damian Nenow: "When I was approached with the challenge of depicting hunger as a ruthless tyrant, I was intrigued. I think the heightened level of emotion in the clip is justified, given the number of lives wasted needlessly by hunger when it's clearly a problem that can be eradicated.

"The Zero Hunger Challenge was launched at the Rio+20 summit in June 2012 by Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon. The Secretary General called on leaders, business and civil society to step up efforts to end hunger emphasizing that almost one billion people still go to bed hungry each day, saying food security was a top priority."
