Why? It's the perfect mix of options for housing with good-sized lots. The area is not super old, but not super new. It's close to highway 400 and has all the amenities you'd need but secluded enough not to feel like a big city.

2. Barrie East
Why?
A more established area with older homes, bigger yards and. mature trees. Close to everything you need: hospital, highway 400 access, downtown.

3. City centre
Why?
Great restaurants, waterfront views, super easy access to other areas of Barrie, some great condo buildings and relatively affordable housing.
