Granite Hills High School Varsity Cheer (one competition) and Bostonia Elementary School Bobcat Cheer 1996. A lot of video of OG Bobcats practicing at Bostonia elementary school. Got lucky and captured Granite Hills High School Eagles Varsity Cheer at the Cheerleaders of America West Coast Open on Feb 17, 1996. We weren’t familiar with any of the Eagles varsity cheerleaders so this was a lucky find. If you know any of them from 1996, please let them know this is posted here. I moved the video of their competition to the very beginning. After that, the video is just Bobcat cheerleaders. Some of the routines are repetitive, but there are a lot of close ups and probably fun to show your kids. The COA competition (02.17.96) was posted in another one of my YouTube videos, but this is from a different angle. I think the best part about this video is that it shows the Bobcat girls interacting with each other, just hanging out, leaving the hotel to go to the competition, and keeping their spirits up while waiting for competitions. It also shows some of the parents, Mrs. Albright, and poor Richard Fenison commenting that he hasn't been able to wear his own jacket all day because (first) Jeanine, (then) Jocelyn have been wearing it. LOL.
