STORYLINE:

A mother and her daughter were rescued late Tuesday from the Margalla Towers in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Mah-bibi, aged 75, and her daughter Khalida-begum aged 57 had been trapped for almost 80 hours.

They told APTN that now they had been found that all their family had survived.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Aziz told reporters that he was impressed by the way the people of Pakistan had dealt with this tragedy.

He also said he was overwhelmed by the offers of international help.
