I'm starting a big freelance editing project on-site, which means transporting my entire workstation! I initially fit everything into the Black Ember Forge backpack, but the load was so heavy that I decided to use the Bellroy rolling carry-on luggage instead. This vlog documents my first day commuting with the gear and the two-bag system I settled on.

The Bellroy rolling case handles all the heavy equipment (laptop, dual-screen monitor, dock, cables, power strip, etc.). However, I discovered two key missing features in the rolling case:

A dedicated, protective laptop compartment (3:14).

Quick access to items like water bottles, energy bars, and small cameras (4:12).

This led me to the final two-bag setup: the Bellroy rolling case for the bulk/weight and the Black Ember Forge backpack for liquids, food, and quick-access items (DJI Pocket 3, wallet). This combination perfectly solves the logistical challenge of lugging a heavy mobile editing studio and ensures a less sweaty arrival!
