Quilboar are dominating the current meta, and this APM-focused Paint Smudger strategy might be one of the strongest ways to play them right now. The entire composition revolves around stacking multiple copies of Hearthstone Battlegrounds powerhouse minions and abusing Tavern spells for near-infinite scaling.
The core of the build is Paint Smudger, a Tier 6 Quilboar that turns every Tavern spell into massive permanent stats. After stabilizing, I managed to assemble seven copies and pair them with Fleet Admiral Tethys, Brann Bronzebeard, and Visionary Shipman to fully activate the Pirate economy package. The result? Every spell cast generated absurd value, chaining buffs across the board and turning each turn into a true APM showcase.
To maximize Blood Gem scaling, Moon-Bacon Jazzer, Sanguine Refiner, and Fearless Foodie dramatically increased gem size, allowing every Smudger trigger to hit even harder. Later, gem confiscation enabled the creation of a massive golden Niuzao, which I then duplicated with my hero power to complete the perfect endgame warband.
This strategy blends Quilboar scaling with the Pirate value engine, creating one of the most flexible and explosive builds in the meta. It snowballs rapidly, scales endlessly with proper execution, and can compete with any late-game composition. This particular match truly felt like a work of art - a perfect example of how powerful Paint Smudger APM can be when everything comes together.
