Al Namas - One of the fascinating tourist destinations, An-Namas is located on the Sarawat mountains south of Saudi Arabia. An-Namas is one of the governorates of the Aseer region and it boasts natural landscape, stunning mountainous terrain and mild weather because of its 2500 meters height above the sea level.

An-Namas is famous for its natural destinations, parks, deep valleys, and high mountains. It boasts historical and archaeological attractions such as An- Namas museum, which is located in the old quarter amid the ancient archaeological palaces and forts, and the village of Aqbat Tala' that features unique Arab architectural style, where its buildings were built of stones and covered with olive branches.

The city of An-Namas boasts the traditional Al-Maqarr village which needed more than three decades to be erected. The village boasts many ancient hidden treasures and tourist landmarks, including the ancient Al-Maqarr palace that features seven domes represent the world continents. The village boasts also the historic Thurban Palace, one of the six most important palaces in the heritage district. The Jabal Nasser, however, is a full-service natural park. It features play areas for children, and beautiful sitting places for families to sit amidst a thrust of enchanting places surrounded by fog.
