After the great success of our first release “Alfonsvs | 44th Romance EP”, FLUXUS returns once again to the centre of attentions of the relatively small Portuguese house and techno scene, this time with a compilation where four artists are gathered to pass on one single full picture: the essence of FLUXUS.

This second release is, in its true form, music compiled through time that would make sense to be brought up to day light in this way: all together. Artists that are known as solid parts of the inner Portuguese circle, coming together with new-found talents from our country and even abroad.

Dupplo, from the infamous duo “Voxels”, is the artist that opens up this compilation. He brings us a quite creative and colored track, with shiny synthesized sounds that take us to an utopian reality, where we can see ourselves warmed by the organic origin of the elements he uses and the resonant synths.

Bruno, an artist that doesn’t show himself much to the world, comes forward to portray his “Mindset” on the format of a deep and warm House track, with plenty of groove. Being personal, this track makes us think of a sleepy city at night viewed by the ones who don’t sleep and are just wandering around. The melody on this one and the drum pattern really make us point this track as the highlight of this compilation.

Alfonsvs, returns to Fluxus, with a melodic deep track, functional enough to have the late night dance floors grooving, or even the “daydreamers” swaying their bodies to the beat when those analog sounding keys first appear, playing with the groovy bassline and the very physical sounding percussion.

“Black Sedan” is Sapporo’s closer to this compilation. The Italian producer brings what we see as an example of iconic drum parts blended with old school vocals and classic acid elements. The acid bassline plays the main part of this track, having its dynamism supporting a raw structure.
