When I here the name Emotional Constitution I think of the the most-the maximum- a person can
take at a given moment in his or her life. Do you have what it takes the 'constitution' to handle what cards that the Lord has dealt you. i wanted this song to have some aspect of sin and doubt in it. Like a perpetual state of penance. This song is about a man who loses litterally everything all the way down to his family. Its never said why, alcoholism? Car accident? Fire in the home? Thats up to the listener to decide. I just wanted to make sure that it was hit home that this is meant to be a sad song also about living through and/or with pain and suffering in life. Everyone suffers at one point or another in his or her life.. but the ablility to take responsibility and move forward is something however, i feel, most don't have..
