Today I am taking you to one of the two Mountain Roads here in the United Arab Emirates.
Jebel Jais Road, just outside of Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah is one of the 7 Emirates and is in the northern part of the country.
Jebel Jais is part of the north – west Hajar Mountain range that starts on the Musandam Peninsula and is part of the Musandam /Oman part and the Emirate of Ras al Khaimah.
The Hajar Mountain Range stretches all the way from the Peninsula to far into Oman, close to its capital Muscat.
Jebel Jais has a height of 1934 meters.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to ride all the way up to the top.

Another attraction is the World longest Zipline, that has a length of 2823 meters (9291 feet) and reaches a speed of up to 150km/h (93 miles). This was opened in 2018.

Road surface is fantastic and during weekdays traffic is almost non-existing.
