Detailed Tutorial on How to Cut male trousers

In this video, we bring you the easiest trouser cutting tutorial you'll ever find. Its a pattern we've worked on for quite a while now, and we're glad to announce that we've perfected this method of cutting men's trousers.

First, we fold the fabric into two, then we go ahead to rule out our waist line, and side line. After that, we begin placing the horizontal measurements which includes; crotch line, knee length, and full length.

We also add 1½ inches for hemming allowance. Note that, before placing the horizontal lines, you have to subtract 1 inch from the waist line. This is later going to be replaced by the waist band.

Next, we go to the crotch line and apply the thigh measurement. In this trouser cutting method, the thigh measurement is divided by 2.

So 24÷2=12. We go ahead and place the 13 inch on the crotch line. Then we future divide it by 2.

So 12÷2 =6. We go ahead and mark a chalk in the 6 inches line for the men's pants tutorial.

Next, we place the 6 inches on all horizontal lines (Knee, full length & hemming allowance). After that, we rule a vertical line across what we just marked.

To get the perfect front for a men's pants, we divide the knee, and inseam measurements by 4.

Knee; 17÷4=4⅓
Inseem; 13÷4= 3¼

The answer we got, will be placed on each side of the line we just ruled. After that, we use the curved ruler, and trace all lines to give a perfect fitting on this trouser.

The next us the waist, and to do that, we go in by ½ inch at the side line. Then we divide the waist by 4 and mark a chalk at the answer. Next, we add one inch for sewing allowance. We rule the line to the crotch line, and then come down by 1 inch at the crotch line.

The front of this trouser is done. The next is to cut out with a scissors.

For the back, its 3 inches l more than the front at the crotch line, and 2 inches more at the knee line and full length.

The next is to cut out the back, and place the pockets, zip, and dart measurements, which is all detailed in this tutorial.
