LOVE IT, very convenient
We have been using this honey dispenser for about a week and are very happy with it. Some reviewers comment on how the top part should be metal, but we feel the type of hard plastic that is used it sufficient and probably keeps the cost down. With metal, you have to be careful about rusting factor and cost.
There is very little to no leakage from the bottom. What drips out, I think is just that last drop that was coming out but was too slow for the user to wait for it to come all the way out. I hope that makes sense.
The resting cup and the clear part of the dispenser feels like glass to us. Some reviewers say that it is acrylic plastic, but it seems like real glass to us.
My husband has had a sore throat this past week and dispenses the honey straight into his mouth without touching the dispenser or having to dirty a spoon.
We have not washed it yet, because it holds a good amount of honey. We do not plan on washing it every time it empties either because honey is naturally antibacterial/antimicrobial.
I highly recommend this product.
