Hampi, the mystic city of ruins is a UNESCO world heritage site that will show you a glimpse to the past lost world, while there is much more history to be discovered here, this area is also arguably the largest climbing region in Asia littered with giant boulders of red granite rocks which offers world class climbing lines comparable to Bishop in California.

Since this area is closer to the equator the average temperature hovers well over 25 degrees therefore the main climbing season is between November and February. All of the established climbing is on the island of Hampi, where you will always find fellow climbers in the area coming from different parts of the world as well as non-climbing backpackers.
