His Holiness Janananda Gosvami is a disciple of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, having taken initiation in 1972. He has held a variety of positions in ISKCON and served Srila Prabhupada in a number of countries, most notably the United Kingdom, Africa, Malaysia, Europe, Philippines and New Zealand.

His Holiness Janananda Maharaj is busily engaged in travelling and preaching all over the world. He is the main driving force behind the World Holy Name initiative and various other exciting and progressive projects in ISKCON. Maharaj is also a member of the Committee for Kirtan Standards.

Maharaja’s kirtans, harinam, spontaneous skits, realizations, scholarly presentations of the works of Srila Prabhupada, witty nature, humility and many more transcendental qualities attracts even the most wayward souls to the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna.
