Speech to text and the iPad Notes App

Many councils have introduced or are moving towards 1:1 devices in the classroom which means that teachers and pupils now have a whole suite of tools at their fingertips to make learning more accessible. One of these features is speech to text technology. Whilst dictation has been a standard feature of iPads for years now, the latest update to Apple's 'Notes' app makes it easier than ever for pupils to dictate their thoughts and words onto paper, combining with images and hand drawn pictures, audio files and intuitive layout options.

In this webinar, Blair Minchin will discuss how he has used these accessibility features in his primary classroom, show examples of work from his pupils and explaining how he facilitates this use of technology.
