"浩浩乾坤" - Chinese Song About The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (Extended)

Описание к видео "浩浩乾坤" - Chinese Song About The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom (Extended)

Inspired by Actovania's "浩浩乾坤" - Chinese Song About The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom [Lyrics + Translation], i made an extended version, though without the lyrics. 浩浩乾坤 means "The vast heaven and earth".

The Taiping rebellion was a war fought within China from 1850 - 1864, where a christian cult kickstarted a rebellion against the ruling Qing dynasty. It remains to this day the deadliest civil war in human history.

Lyrics as suggest translation by @reyg.5305 from said videos comment section:
For those of you who speaks other languages and/or are confused by the subtitle, here's another interpretation for it.
|
Gashing wounds bleed not tears.
Flag poles bend not their knees.
Clenched fists do not let go.
Running rivers knows no retreat.
To live is to have the breath of courage, seldom there's a chance at glory.
Life or death at the crossroad, raise a cup to the lost and the gained.
Tis neither victories nor defeats that makes a hero, the sky and the land will remember.

I believe in the art being separate from the artist, in the sense that one can enjoy the art without necessarily agreeing with the artist. The video is wholly to your interpretation.
