We Found a House for £6000 - Should We Buy it?

Property hearing Bulgaria can be purchased quite cheaply. But £6000 is very cheap even for Bulgaria! When we went to view this property, we fully expected it to be as dilapidated as it is – however – we did not expect it to be in such a beautiful village!

The house is very small, but we wanted to turn it into an Airbnb, and this is the perfect spot. Surrounded by spa hotels, restaurants, and beautiful scenery – this really is a delightful area. Caution – one of the things you need to consider when purchasing property in Bulgaria is  sewage! Many houses in rural villages here use a septic tank. There is legislation pertaining to these, and you also have to consider access for emptying the tanks on a regular basis. This can be expensive.
