Gas condensing boilers from the OPTIMUM Condens series are gas- or propane-fired boilers. Thermona produces two different output series – 24kW and now also 14kW. The boilers are made up of components which make it possible for alternative condensing boilers to be offered with the optimal value for money. So Thermona is able to offer an extremely high-quality condensing boiler with a wide range of uses for a very competitive price. The condensing body with its stainless-steel heat exchanger provides the heart of the boiler, giving it a guaranteed long lifespan. The heat exchanger’s trumpet shape prevents it getting clogged up by a build-up of sediment from the heating system.

The boiler has a state-of-the-art, low-emissions burner which is highly efficient and environmentally-friendly. The boilers has the best emissions rating, measuring Nitrogen Oxide emissions – NOx 6.

The boilers the Therm 14 KDN and the Therm 24 KDN are produced without water heating, although the customer can also choose from a wide range of boilers with hot-water heating. The Therm 24 KDCN is Thermona’s overal best-selling boiler. It’s an on-demand water heater in a so-called plate heat exchanger.

The boiler is especially suited in blocks of flats due to its on-demand hot water and the lower output for heating. The model is often used as a replacement for older types of boiler due to its extremely attractive price. For example, it is used as a replacement for the so-called turbo boiler with forced extraction of flue gases.

The Therm 14 KDZN and the Therm 24 KDZN have an in-built three-way valve under the casing, which can heat an external hot-water tank. Another type is the Therm 14 KDZN 5 and the Therm 24 KDZN 5, this time with water heating in the in-built 55-litre tank. The boiler is suitable anywhere where the outlets and the interconnections need to be hidden.
