Hi there, I'm Evangeline right here at eTrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Gustafson RV Toilet Paper Holder. This is something you can install in your bathroom area of your RV trailer motor home. This will include all the tools as well as the bracket and hardware that you will need to get this installed. Looking at our holder here, let's explain how this all works. So you have the backing plate of your paper towel holder and then you have this little bolt on the bottom that you use the included Allen key, which will then push up on your bracket, securing the holder in place.

So speaking of bracket, that's gonna be this part over here. Included are gonna be two bolts that will be used to secure your bracket to the wall of your motor home bathroom area. If you just happen to not line up with a stud, you do get these drywall screws included with your kit to help you get mounted. We actually are replacing the old toilet paper holder that was on this motor home, and holding up the new bracket to the old bracket, you can see it's different in shape, but those mounting holes are actually the exact same distance apart on the old mounting holes. So that means I don't have to drill any new holes.

For your measurement, this is about seven eighths of an inch apart. Once you have your bracket installed, you're also gonna figure out what the orientation of your holder is. Now ideally, you'll want this facing horizontally, with the opening not against the wall. So like this is good. So what I actually had to do was I loosened the back screw with a Phillips head screwdriver, adjusted to the orientation that I want, and then tightened back down, again, with that screwdriver.

This now fits onto the mounting bracket. I'm gonna hold that in place with one hand, as I use the Allen key included with a kit on the other hand to tighten that bolts down. So for those that are using their own tools, this is gonna be a two millimeter Allen key. For something as simple as a toilet paper holder, there's actually a little bit more that goes into it than you would think.
