4 Common mistakes meditation beginners should avoid:

1) Don't force yourself to sit in a position that does not work for you.
🧘 Yes, the sitting posture makes a difference.
🧘 But: as a beginner, you can take it easy and develop your practice step by step. Start in such a way that you are sitting comfortably and your thoughts are not blocked for example by back pain.

2) You meditate "somehow" but do not direct your attention in a way that has the best effect for you.
🧘 There are many different meditation traditions, types and styles. Each style affects your brain differently and activates or calms certain areas. Find out for free which style works best for you:

3) You think you don't have enough time to meditate.
🧘 Meditation can also be less formal: You can drink your coffee mindfully and be fully in the here and now. Even if it's only 5 minutes it's better than nothing.
