In this special video, I give an updated tour of my Minecraft racetrack on the PS4 as well as a new starting gate tutorial at the end. My older videos for these from years ago are subpar, so that and a request for the dimensions of the track lead me to create this. Regular racing videos are back later this week with a preview of the Breeders' Cup Classic, Turf and Distaff.

Racetrack Name: Minehorse Park
Loosely based off Belmont Park in Elmont, NY

BUILDING DIMENSIONS

Length: 172 blocks
Width Front-Back: 22 blocks (I probably should've made this bigger)
Height: 31 blocks; Ht of Floor 1: 9; Floor 2: 8; Floor 3: 5; Overhang: 9 above the top of the 3rd floor (additional seating up to 3 blocks before the overhang).

RACETRACK DIMENSIONS

For all 3 courses, on the straightaways (stretch and backstretch), distance between poles (acting as 1/16 of a mile) is 33 blocks. On the turns, use your judgement. Distance apart they should be: 33/(sqrt(2)) blocks, or about 23 blocks. You don't need to build all 3 tracks or even 2, you could just do the outermost Main Track if you want.

Main Track Stretch and Backstretch Length: 211 blocks

Main Track Distance Between Stretch and Backstretch: 117 blocks
