Since DXIC is the only local AM station normally received in Iligan City, this recording highlights several non-local AM radio stations that were successfully received from different regions.

The strongest signals received include: DYHP Cebu, DYMF Cebu, DYSS Cebu, DYTR Bohol and DYRD Bohol. Nearby Mindanao stations were also clearly received, such as: DXDD Ozamiz, DXOC Ozamiz and DXCC Cagayan de Oro.

Interestingly, DYSI Iloilo was received via E-layer skywave propagation, proving how effective skywave conditions can be for long-distance AM reception.
