STORYLINE
Four Palestinians and two Israelis were injured in clashes near the West Bank city of Ramallah late on Saturday.
Palestinians from Ras Karkar claimed that a group of Jewish settlers had tried to attack their village but were stopped by a group of Palestinian youths.
The Israeli Defence Force said in a statement that the clashes "involved mutual rock hurling" and "erupted between approximately 30 Israeli civilians and about a hundred Palestinians."
The IDF said that Israeli forces arrived at the scene and stopped the clashes.
A medical official from a Ramallah hospital confirmed that four Palestinians were being treated for rubber bullet injuries.
The two Israelis were being moved to an Israeli hospital, according to the IDF.
