Mungmung is one of the most important festivals of the Sangtams celebrated to worship God of the house and the three cooking stones in the fireplace concerned with food productions, blessings and prosperity. The festival which extends for six days, is observed in the first week of September every year on successful completion of six days celebration of mungmung, the Sangtam nagas believe that their God is will pleased and hope for blessing from him by having rich harvest and good health in the family

Let this festival be the blessing festival after hearing this song, I believe that everyone of us would change our heart and show good example for this song Amen 🙏

1. Eastern Sangtams and Western Sangtams resides in different places but with the celebration of mungmung festival, we could get together and share our delightful moments and wisdom. This is the prime festival of Sangtam.

#Northern Sangtams and Southern Sangtams scattered in different places but all are celebrating in unison, sharing love in homes and in a friend circle. Through the celebration of mungmung festival, may unity emerge throughout Sangtam inhabited land .

2. kings and leaders listen to these stories. Sangtams are just like a bird singing in tall tree. Through this mungmung, in all the homes,among relatives fills beauty and wholesome entire Sangtam soil.

3. Sangtams were being blessed with educated man and women to protect our land like a sun and the moon. God has blessed with renowned leaders and now a world sees the morning stars of Sangtams.

in olden days our parents were with rice beer, searching one another heads for fame and popularity.Worshiped evil spirit like wood and stones,they were in fleshly life .But in our generations, good news of Christ redeemed our people .
