KPOP IN PUBLIC GIDLE 여자아이들 HWAA 화 Dance Cover (Sydney, Australia)

Hi everyone!
Happy Lunar new year!
We are finally back with our version of GIDLE 's HWAA. The song and costume for this comeback is full of traditional Eastern vibes and we've been replaying this song none stop so we just had to do a cover!
In spirit of Lunar new year, we decided to film in Chinatown with the colourful lanterns as well as creating a special choreo as an intro also by using traditional elements and imagery. Gidle had an image of a fire flame at the beginning of their song so we decided to recreate one of the plum blossom as well as having a real "flame" to begin and end our choreo. The music also mixed in Gidle's Hann which is also one of our favourite Gidle songs so we decided to add a little bit of the chorus in the intro! HANN and HWAA ended up meshing so well together!!
We were super lucky as it started pouring down with rain after we finished filming. It's Lulu's first choreo of 2021 so we hope you guys enjoy it!

Uni has started already for some of our members, we are also in the middle of auditioning new members. Beginning of the year is always pretty hectic so we are sorry for the delay in videos. Hopefully you'll be able to see some new members soon!!

**Sydney has lifted some of its COVID restrictions and it is not mandatory to wear masks except on public transport. All our active cases at the moment are from overseas in hotel quarantine with over 30 days of no cases from community transmission. However, the girls are still careful to wear masks are rehearsals as well as on public transport. We hope everyone else is staying safe too and following local COVID protocols and regulations.
